F A B U L O U S!
Real Simple has made this product just that...real simple! The consumer gets to customize this piece and the add ons are pre-packaged with explicit information on size and color. It doesn't get more simple than this. The packaging by RealSimple protects the product. Well done RS!
I am using this in the kitchen for items needed at hand without digging through the cupboards. It is great!
I like the fact that I can purchase additional add ons at any time to fit my particular needs. The product is sturdy and attractive. I am off to purchase the bench now!

Great little drawer
This is great for those little items that you don't want rolling around elsewhere. You just need to keep in mind when planning out your system that if you are going to use 3 to fill a cube, you will end up with an extra shelf. If you only use one or two per cube, you are fine. As the previous reviewer stated, a standard piece of paper will not lay flat - which is a bit annoying. If you only put two drawers in a cube, you can slide paper underneath the bottom drawer. It is, however, great for storing rubber stamps, hot glue guns, ink pads, receipts, coupons, small notebooks and a wide variety of other things. My biggest complaint is the hard to open packaging. Other than that, I have found this system to be the most efficient way to organize my things.

What were they thinking?
Three glaring things wrong with this item:
1) to fill a cube you need three drawers and two shelves and yet you have to by a drawer and shelf at a time ... I know you can use the extra shelf elsewhere, but really?
2) seems like a perfect place to throw some papers, right? to bad the inner dimensions are about a 1/4" shy of the 11" you'd need for letter size
3) I have never seen so much hot glue and staples used in packaging in all my life -- its a shelf and a drawer! at least something has finally surpassed the annoyance of those indestructible plastic sheathes they encase all electronics in...
