Not good
Believe me, this is not a phony review, it's the truth. I bought this about a month ago. It worked great for a couple weeks, but now it can't be tuned to a station well enough to be able to understand what's being said. I spend half my time in the shower trying to adjust it well enough to hear, and then give up in disgust.

Same issues
When we received the first radio as a gift, it had been used and put back in the box. The batteries had corroded the interior. We took it back and they thankfully replaced it for us without any issues. Then we put our new radio in our shower (which is pretty well-ventilated) for about a month and now it is having the same problems others described - static when you take it up to a certain mid-level volume. Boo. This is very frustrating and we will be returning it. Again.

1 yr. later still great
I bought this 1 year ago, still works great. I think these bad reviews must be phoney. I'm in the market for another one for my husband's boat now. I like the swiveling hanger, which is better than the Conair one's built in hook. But this doesn't come in black, which my husband needs to take in his boat while fishing (black won't show fish blood as bad). So, this time I'll have to get the Conair model, though I don't think he'll like the way it hangs on the boat gunnel. This needs to come in other colors, my only reason for giving 4 stars. We may be back for this one, though, if he hates the Conair's hanger.

Does not work well
This product did not work hardly at all. No good reception. Cannot hear radio from the static. I had hoped that Brookstone would have a shower radio that worked, but apparently not. Very disappointed.
