I love my CBTL machine. Getting the pods is next to impossible. BBB is always out of stock of espresso pods in store and on line. Very disappointed when I talked to a store manager and was told they only stock them intermittently as they are not popular. Get this machine only if you plan to buy your pods directly from CBTL.

Very different from Keurig
I opted for this machine as it has a much smaller footprint on my counter top than one of the better K-Cup machines. If you are used to a K-cup brewer this is much different. A bit more to clean as the used pods drop into a holding bin, along with water overflow. The Pods are more expensive - they work out to around 70 cents each compared to 50 cents or less with the K-cups. I had yet to find a nice espresso shot with the K-cups. The CBTL Italian Espresso pods are my favorite. I brew two, add a little cream & sugar and top my cup with about 2 ounces of water for a very satisfying Americano, still half the price of one from a coffee shop. I am still experimenting with the regular coffee pods and honestly have not found one that I really like. It would be nice if there were a few stronger options and they were easier to come by. I think the K-cups have a much better market and selection in that area. Hope that CBTL follows suit. I give it a 4 out of 5 for this reason.

I couldn't be more pleased.
A friend encouraged me to upgrade my coffee experience, and recommended that I invest in the CBTL single serve brew system. The CBTL machine is handsome and sleek, and fits my space in color and design. The coffees and teas are flavorful and bold.

great machine
this machine can also use starbucks verissimo pods.. that makes selection easy.. you can also refill the cbtl capsules there is a utube video to show you how.. now you can have 100% kona in a pod.
