Soft, Light, PERFECT.
I use to have a very similiar quilt, but sadly I lost it. I always wanted to purchase a new one, but the prices can be quite outrageous, so, me and my fiance registered for the quilt and the matching shams. I was instantly pleased with the softness of the quilt, and how light it is. We live in Maryland, and during the summer's it can get quite hot in our bedroom, so a comforter is not appropriate.
After I was able to get it home, washed, and on the bed, I literally absolutely fell in love with it. The material is quite soft, even in its newness (it is stiff though for the first couple of months, and will take a few washes to relieve the stiffness). It does not wrinkles, and lays perfectly on the bed. For the summer, you can use it with a set of sheets, and it will keep you warm enough at night, when the fan and AC are on blast, but it's not super thick and makes you sweat all night. I truly believe this fabric breathes so much that it has a cooling effect.
I love this set, and think EVERYONE should purchase it!
