AMAZING!!
I really don't understand the bad reviews for this steamer! I have used mine many times to steam everything possible. I make my own baby food so I steam until veggies or fruits are very soft. I have calphalon non stick pots and pans and an electric stove with coils (not flat burners). I put mine in the dishwasher too on the top rack. I use mine multiple times a day and I love it!! Works like a charm! Perfect price aswell!! Try it out if you don't like it or if it has issues return it to bbb, they will gladly refund or give store credit. Even if its damaged.

Horrible
This thing is horrible. If it touches the edge of the pot you are using to steam you food in it will melt. On top of that I washed it in the sink, not the dishwasher, and the leg fell off so now I cannot use it. Who makes a steamer with legs that come out?

Melted on the first use
This steamer apparently couldn't stand the heat of an ordinary gas stove when I tried to steam some green beans. This product may only be microwave and dishwasher-safe even if it says it's stove-top worthy, so don't take the risk.

Melted...
Use caution when using in a pot over gas flame. Side of steamer basket was in contact with metal pot and melted. Not certain if this would happen with an electric stove, but take note.
