Love this blender!!!!
I have purchased several other hand blenders in the past,I use a hand blender almost everyday to blend my Pomeranian's meals.I have went through about 8 cuisinart hand mixers in the past 3 years. The Calphlon is amazing and I love the power and also the gaurd at the bottom of the mixer because it does'nt scratch my vintage Pyrex bowls. The Cephalon has 50 more watts of power than the Cuisinart.

Powerful hand held blender
I live in a small house with tile floors and wanted a blender that was powerful enough to process such items as salsa and liquid meals, but not loud. I really like the aesthetics of this blender and the price was within range of similar brands and styles. It is very powerful. I use only level "1" for liquid meals due to the power. I have used higher settings when creating salsa. The decibel level is acceptable to me; noticabely less than my previous blender. I keep the wand attached to the chopper when not in use, and it looks good sitting on my kitchen counter.
