LOVE IT!
We have a new home that was taking me over 2 hours to vacuum. Now I can do other things while my "RoboGirl" does her thing. Since we aren't there all the time (yet) I haven't tried the programmed cleaning yet, but will do so soon.

We love it!
We love our Roomba 770 so much! My boyfriend and I have a small-ish two bedroom apartment with very dark hardwood floors, which show ALL of the dust and dirt. To keep it clean, we would have to sweep and dust mop practically every day, which neither of us was willing to do with our busy schedules. Also, when you sweep hard floors with a broom, all of the dust just flies in the air and then settles back down (onto the floor, bed, desk, table, kitchen counters, etc.) and the place is just as dirty, maybe even dirtier, than when you started. So we got a Roomba 770, and it's been great!
Our Roomba helps immensely to keep our floors clean, and solves the problem of dust flying everywhere with sweeping. The Roomba gets our floors VERY clean, and rarely misses a spot. It is also low enough that it cleans under the couch and under the bed. No more dust bunnies! I generally run it in whatever room I'm not going to be using for half an hour or so, and then rotate whenever it's convenient. To run it , I just pick up whatever I need to off the floor, bring the Roomba in, set it to clean, shut the door, and leave. The best thing is coming back in to a clean room that I DIDN'T HAVE TO CLEAN MYSELF!!
The only downsides are:
(1) You have to clean up the floor before you start the Roomba
(2) It can't get into some small corners (if I want a more thorough clean, I sweep the dust out of these places before I start the roomba)
(3) It sometimes gets stuck in tight corners
(4) It's somewhat loud, too loud to use in the same room you are in
These downsides are nothing compared to the incredible usefulness of this machine, though. If you don't have one, you should. It will change your life and you will love it!

Love this product
The roomba 770 is awesome. The best part is that you can either pre-program it or simply hit the button to start it cleaning. I love it so much I am thinking of getting a second one so I don't have to move it around the house. I have many pets and can't vacuum everyday so the Roomba is a lifesaver. It vacuums for me several times a day and removes all the pet hair from the house.
It has some minor design flaws but all in all is a wonderful invention. The recepticle is small but it will go a long time before needing to be emptied so that is not so bad. It is a bit of a struggle to remove the bin to empty it because you need to give it a big tug but not so much of an inconvenience that it would discourage the purchase of a product that vacuums your house in your absence.
The real plus of this machine is the pre-programming feature and the fact that Roomba returns to home base by itself and plugs itself in to recharge. Amazing. You won't regret this purchase even at this price!
You will still need to vacuum occassionally but for the in-between you can't beat it. One more thing, the Roomba doesn't vacuum the way you would. It goes over the entire room through the entire cycle so it may pass a peice of hair or dust but rest assured that before it is done it will go back and pick it all up.

Great Puchase
We recently had hardwood floors put in our home and we have a dog that sheds. The Roomba cleans very thorough and picks up pet hair. The first few times we ran the Roomba the lint compartment was full. Since then we run every other day and only get about half a filled lint bin. I love it and recommend it highly. It does everything we wanted and has proven to be a timesaver.
