I purchased this item for my single daughter because she eats like a bird so, a full size slow cooker would be a waste for her. These 2 crock pots in one unit have separate controls so she can cook 2 smaller portion items at the same time. This will be a big help to her because she is a Doctor and always seems to be on the go.
