Disappointed
It's near impossible to calculate the correct amt. of batter for each waffle. 1st batch...didn't think I added to much, but it oozed out all over the outside & onto my counter top. Next batch, decreased amt. & it didn't fill up each section, thus leaving holes all over the waffle. A real headache to clean because of all the little crevices on the outside of the machine. Did not brown evenly on each side. Best part was the signal to let you know it was done. The recipe for the basic waffle produced the lightest waffle we've ever had. Husband loved it. However, it took the greatest amt. of effort I've ever put into making waffle batter.

Fun, easy and really good
This waffle iron is not really a thin waffle maker or a crazy thick Belgian waffle maker.It is a really cool in between. The pockets the waffle iron make are deep enough to hold fruit and stuff but the waffle itself is not so thick you get a stomach ache eatin' a quarter of it.
It cooks pretty fast and the color is very even unlike other waffle makers we have used where it is brown some places and white other places.
