Excellent mirror
We purchased this matte nickel 1X/5X magnification vanity mirror (spelled out to ensure correct mirror is being referenced) about 10 years ago (2001) when we refinished the bathroom and changed all metal surfaces to brushed nickel finish. It has been "Mr. Cleaned" many, many times with no loss of finish or damage to the mirrors. The mirror surfaces are still in "as new" condition with no spots or drop-outs. Recently my mother-in-law had occasion to use it and now wants one of her own. We are very pleased that it is still in the product line. If one experiences any problems with the knobs that retain the mirrors to the support arms coming loose, a little Loctite® Threadlocker Blue 242® works like a charm. Just add a drop to each nut, screw them on to the desired tension (not all the way tight or one cannot rotate the mirror), wipe off any excess Loctite with a disposable towel, and let the mirror sit overnight to allow the Loctite to harden. This Loctite product will hold the nuts indefinitely (we're going on 11 years) but it is not permanent in that one can remove the nuts if they need to. This Loctite can usually be found in any large hardware chain (eg, Lowes, Home Depot, etc.) or automotive chain (eg, NAPA, Auto Zone, etc.). Enjoy!

Very handy. Fits where I use it. Doesn't take up much space. Beautiful finish.
