The Perfect Kettle
I put this on my registry after my friend got one for her bridal shower last year - she loved it. I use mine almost every day. Boils water so rapidly and turns off automatically when ready. So easy, and an essential part of every kitchen. I highly recommend!

Great Product!
Had this kettle for probably 5 years and I use it every day to make coffee (old fashioned way with a drip Melitta). Everything still works perfectly and it looks great!- love how it lifts off the base without any cords. The spring loaded lid is dampened, so it doesn't just fly open. Can't say enough good things about it. Eyeing their panini grill and toaster oven next.

Love it
We have had our kettle for 3 years now and it works just as perfectly today as the day we bought it. We use it at least 4-6 times a day. It has a large mouth wich makes it so easy to clean. I've never burned myself on it. It looks beautiful on the counter. It heats up so quickly. It's the best electric kettle we've ever owned. I highly recommend it.

This is a great product!
I can always find problems with products (and most other things) but this breville kettle is really well designed and works wonderfully. i bought it almost a year ago for my daughter as she entered college, and she used it at least 3 times/day during the school year. she likes it so much that she brought it home for summer break. we're using it at least 3 times/day this summer too. i will have to buy my own when she takes it back to college in the fall.
what's good about it:
- mostly metal, so solid and durable; surface is brushed and stays attractive
- clear panel showing water level, easy to see even tho under handle, and lighted when the kettle is on
- wide mouth makes it easy to pour water in, and push button mechanism is smooth
- handle is comfortable and the spout pours without dripping
- the kettle is separate from the base, which makes it easy to pour
- my favorite thing is the plug, which is very heavy duty and has a hole in the middle so you loop a finger thru the hole and pull in order to remove the plug from the outlet (we disconnect small appliances when not in use, and this plug is the smartest plug i've ever seen)
- the kettle makes a little "ding" sound and then turns off automatically when the water has boiled, so you can't overheat the kettle or burn out the element
- large capacity, which is good for those of us who drink a lot of tea
the only thing i can think of that some people may not like is that you can hear the water heating and boiling.
i wish everything were as well designed as this product.
