Nice for the price
This shade is a nice-looking window covering and was VERY easy to install. (I'm a retired woman with good handyman skills). If you were to buy a custom version, you'd pay hundreds more. However, if you're considering this because it is described as room-darkening, forget it. It does no better than the 1" blinds that it replaced in my home. The cellular fabric on the back of the shade is nonwoven fabric that feels like thin paper. I'm skeptical that it will last for more than a year when the shade is raised and lowered at least once a day. The cordless mechanism is decent though it does make it difficult, if not impossible, to cut the shade to fit in a window that's shorter than 64" high. I expect to return the item.

NOT Room Darkening
The quality of this shade as well as the ease of installing it is nothing short of wonderful. However, this shade was indexed under Room Darkening, and it is not. It truly doesn't even qualify as light filtering. As a migraine sufferer, room darkening was highly important to me, and in this regard, I was extremely disappointed. I have opted to keep the beautiful shade, and purchase room darkening drapes to cover the window.
