Save your money
Expensive vacuum that was very difficult to push and pull. The suction was okay but it was like pushing an elephant around the room. I could not take it back fast enough.

IT'S A KEEPER!
I did a lot of research before making my Miele purchase. To start, I own an Electrolux and so trying to find a second vacuum that performs as well as the one I already own was a challenge.
I know the Miele brand from living overseas. Many of my friend had them and raved about them wishing they could bring them back home.
I knew I was going to purchase either the Miele canister or upright. I will tell you, I almost got the upright until my daughter tried to use it. It was just too heavy for her to really use. I have 3 girls and they are all at the age where they can help out around the house. I had her tryout both and she found the canister much easier to use and that's really the only reason I chose it over the upright. They both had the same features and excellent ratings.
I love my Miele, it's certainly lived up to all the positive reviews that are written about it...including this one!

Love This Vacuum
Bought this vacuum and couldn't be happier. It is light weight so it is easy to carry up and down stairs. It tracks easily behind you as you clean around the house. The electric cord is almost 30 feet long so I plug it into a centrally located outlet and can clean the house from front to back. It is as quiet as told it was. Above all else, it cleans 1000% better than the Oreck I had, which was one of the worst vacuums I ever owned. I love this vacuum and highly recommend it.

Outstanding Vacuum
I purchased one of these vacuums about six months ago and have been pleasantly surprised by its performance. It works on carpets and smooth floors with out any issues removing the smallest particle including dog and cat fur. The attachments store extremely easy, the adjustable wand is perfect, the air filter system is second to none and the entire system makes 50% less noise than the average microwave oven.
I am so pleased with this vacuum, that I am purchasing a second one for my summer home in Clearlake, CA.
