Not for smoothies
I'm sure this product would be great for simply mixing drinks, but the reason I'm not recommending it is because the description says you can make smoothies with it and I find this misleading. The actual mixing part is not a blade like I thought it would be, but is just plastic and it doesn't rotate nearly fast enough to make up for the fact that it's not a metal blade. It mixed the soy milk and yogurt fine, but just sort of chunked up the fruit.
