Love this little green hockey puck!
This little thing is INDISPENSABLE. I've been using them for years now! We used to have trouble with our veggies going bad (getting squishy and/or moldy) within a week and a half, but the Veggie Keeper makes them last for a month or more. I replace mine every 4 months, but that's the absolute max; I think three months would be better, but I'm cheap (haha). But as a self-proclaimed penny-pincher, I think it says a lot that I keep buying these!
Helpful tip: use a Sharpie to write the "opened" date on the hockey puck- it's really easy to forget about it, but you'll notice when it stops working (and be really sad that your green peppers are now a pile of mush because you forgot to get a new Veggie Keeper).

Fantastic Product
I highly recommend this product to anyone that has problems with keeping their fruit & Vegetables fresh until they are used. We are a family of two and were able to keep a bunch of leaf lettuce fresh for 3 weeks after placing a disc in our vegetable bin. We actually keep our vegies & fruit in the same bin even though it's recommended to use separate bins. The disc actually lasts a full 3 months. Our only problem with the disc is not being able to find them here locally. Our first discs were purchased at Wal-mart but they no longer carry them. Go figure!! More people need to know that these really do work and for us they have paid for themselves in saved fruits & vegies. Extra Life needs a demonstration table setting up in every grocery store in the country to show people how they work and maybe offer a cents off coupon to get them selling in the stores. No better advertising than word of mouth after a few people try them. Finally a real way to save money. Thank you Green's Extra Life.
