Great Stool
This is a great stool for both of my grandsons to sit / stand on and help in the kitchen (and I can reach the top of the shelf with no issue or without having to get the ladder!) I have one at my house and purchased one for my daughter and am getting one for my daughter-in-law now that my second grandson is old enough to want to start helping cook. Both my son and son-in-law weigh over 250 and can sit on this. And no one had issues putting either of the two we purchased together.

its not like your grandma's chair.
wife bought this stool. i put it together. what a piece of junk.(made in china). the lower brace should be one piece.instead of two or at least use a hole for the screw not a slot. i constantly had to fix. not happy with this product at all. it is not safe or worth the money. but that is what happens when companies ship their product over seas to be made for pennies!!

Nastalic Retro look step stool
Good product however some of the parts are not as sturdy as the old style and the chair is not stable. Love the look and great for sitting. I bought it for the look and so that I could reach high places

Our kids love these
We bought two of them last year for our 3 & 7 year old boys to sit at the kitchen counter. It took a while to put them together, my husband is a mechanic and said that you really have to know what you are doing to put them together. Once put together though, they have been great, they can hold my husband's weight (and he loves pie) and we haven't had any structural issues. Easy to move around and i use the step stool part often to get into higher cupboards. We are actually going to buy two more.
