One good idea, one bad
The grippers on the bottom are a great idea. However, the glue the manufacturer used to attach the paper to the board with will not come off. I have used all types of soap and water and scrubbed and it still won't come off. Don't really want to use harsh chemicals that will be absorbed into the wood and transferred to my food, so it's going back to the store today. They should have used some of that stuff that just rolls off rather than actual glue. Bad idea.

opened it up to find it was split into two pieces
Bought this today, came home, peeled off the plastic wrap to find it was in two pieces. So, I have to burn gas to go back to the store. Look at the photo here carefully, do you see the splits? I sure do.
