brand new and didn't run more than 5 minutes I installed and full charged the battery before use. The first time the vacuum only lasted 5 minutes, then it needed to be charged again. The second time, the vacuum ran 8 minutes, then needed to be charged. The third time, again it lasted only 5 minutes. I promptly returned to the store and stated it was defected. I re-installed my old battery, which was only lasting about 10 minutes before needing to be charged. Something must have revitalized the old battery as it now runs like new, 25+ minutes at a time!!! I'd recommend taking out your old battery first before spending $80+ to get a new one that may or may not work. August 19, 2012

Doesn't work I let my Roomba recharge with this new battery till full charge (for 16 hours). It pulses orange light, which indicates charging, then green light, which means charged. But, if a press CLEAN, for Roomba to start working, it behaves like not charged and says "recharge Roomba". The charging process starts again and, in the end, the same occurs... March 29, 2012
