Great Vacuum For The Money !
Weve had ours for about 4 years and we have 3 cats . It is a little on the heavy side but its a workhorse. Picks up everything and is a beast . The hose option with all of its hookups work excellent for pet hair . I highly recommend this item .

Too Heavy
This product was very heavy and bulky. It was difficult to move from room to room. It was also too powerful for my area rugs. I used it twice then decided to return it to Bed, Bath and Beyond.

Best Vacuum Ever
I usually check Consumer Reports before I buy. This was one of their picks. Best vacuum I ever owned especially with ease of changing from floor use to hose, no adding attachment to bottom of vacuum. It is powerful, but I never had problem. Owned two. First was sturdier, gave to my mother when her vacuum broke. Second looked flimsier, knew I might have problem. Sure enough, foot pedal to release from upright position broke off, and clip holding hose section on right side of vacuum brook off. Still the best I ever owned.

Not Happy with this Purchase
Bought this vacuum 2wks ago to start, clip broke on bag compartment putting together. Door is difficult to remove and put back. Has ruined my carpet edges, sucked the carpet right off the tack boards...which is nice to have it powerful but not at the cost of my carpet. Very heavy and hard to push. Used it twice and both times i have broken out in a sweat using it, cleaning shouldn't be this hard. So... good suction but i still picked up grass and leaves with my hands that it left behind which was a bit of a pain. This is going back to the store and from now on I will stick with Dirt Devil.
