Best Storage File Box Storage!
I read reviews and thought about this rack for a while before buying it. Finally I gave in and bought two of them at the same time. The instructions for assembly looked daunting, but ended up very easy. All the pieces are numbered. All screws needed are provided. I was able to assemble the first one in about an hour (just me alone, and I'm not that tall and I don't weight that much) and the second one in about a half hour. Note - You do need a power screw driver. Some of the joints were tight to fit together - but overall it was easy and fast to assemble. Once assembled and secured to my wall, these are really, really sturdy. I have the two next to each other and they sucked up 36 boxes like a charm. I'm very happy with my two racks and thinking of getting another one..

Awesome!
I have a sewing/project room with (too much) fabric stored in file boxes and when I saw these on-line a few months ago I was intrigued and read many reviews. When I saw it here on BB&B at the lowest price I finally ordered 2 of them. They arrived on time and were actually easy to put together. This was my first time using a a power screwdriver, but zipping the screws into the PVC (pre-guided/drilled starting holes) was easy. It took me about an hour to put the first together, and about 30 minutes to put the second one together. I love the result! They are really study and look very clean. The two I installed sucked up 36 boxes and freed up three book shelves and for me. Love them! Looking at getting a 3rd one ... !

Much more than a hunk of PVC pipe
Sure this is just a bunch of PVC pipe drilled out and fit together and if you knew what you were doing you could go to a home improvement store and buy the stuff to make your own. You might save a few bucks but unless you are skilled at drilling through PVC you will NEVER be able to make something that fits together as well as this does. The holes are all drilled with amazing precision. I have tried drilling out PVC for other DIY projects and it would take me months of practice and hundreds of dollars in wasted pvc to be able to do it this good. It also assembles in a snap. Just make sure you put the screws in the horizontal bars from the bottom side. You don't want to slide your boxes over the screws.

bin storage
I am a storage freak and this system is GREAT! Takes some time to put together but is sturdy. I think the measurements of the container sizes are off slightly but I have rubbermaid crates on the top shelf and bankers boxes on all other shelves. I was able to organize and consolidate so much into one area I have half a closet now empty!
