Good while it lasts
I used this model for several years and was well satisfied with it. I particularly liked that it was compact and the head swiveled. BUT, I also found the top of the unit would pop off and eventually the little tab broke and now the top won't stay on at all. It won't work that way. I tried unsuccessfully to cobble it back together. Time for a new one and I plan to pay a little more this time.

Didn't last long
I used it for about 12 times. The top/face pops right off easily. Got it just a little wet cleaning it one day and water got into it and now you can't read the temp.

Very Efficient
It's small and can be stored anywhere. It also gives suggested temperatures from beef to fish which is very helpful. It does not take long at all to give a temperature and is very easy to use. I am glad I bought it!

Best valued Thermometer
I wanted to buy a food thermometer to make yogurt at home. This is absolutely the best buy. Least expensive yet very effective. It is very easy to read and respond so quickly. Very happy with the product.
P.S: I love bed bath and beyond and shop there all the time.
