Great use of space and VERY durable!
I have no closet space as I moved back in with my parents recently, and after I bought this I put it on a coat rack for additional storage that I would need to access every day. I have used it both ways, and I must say it holds up very well.
The only thing I am noticing is that because I use it so heavily it is starting to rip at the side seams. These seams are ripping where I store my jeans and access them everyday, so that is probably the reason and also why I kept the review at 5 stars. I have about 7-8 pairs of jeans stuffed in each of the bottom 3 compartments (it's currently being hung the long way) and only the seams of the 2nd cube from the bottom is ripping on the sides.
I have no other storage options at the moment, so this is why I'm using and abusing this! I have been using it heavily since about September so I'd say it's holding up VERY well!! I would definitely recommend this, and I can also fold it up to the shorter one should I want to add another lower bar to the rack I'm using. This product is fantastic!

So great!
I purchased one of these and set it up right away. I didn't notice a chemical smell when I set them up, and never have. I also bought the drawer set, and they're perfect! I have them side-by-side in my closet, and if they ever take up too much space, I'll just change it to be one long piece. I live in a dorm in San Francisco, so space is at a premium. I feel so much more organized now, and it makes getting ready easier and faster. They're great!!

nice, big shelves
This works wonderful. The only thing I hadn't realized, though, is that the shelf, while it can collapse to 3 shelves must be right next to each other in the closet because the fabric is still connected. This worked fine for me, but originally I planned to place the shelves apart. I suppose I should have realized this from the picture but I didn't pay enough attention.

Great Organizer
I was looking for something to organize/store my clothes. I found these and thought I would give them a try, especially since I like closet organizers. I DID read the other reviews and yes there is a smell, but its not a nasty bad smell. My hesband said it best, its like a new out of the plastic smell. Other then the smell we LOVE them. I use this for my undergarments with the drawers (different item) and my jeans. In my down stairs I use to store all our games and gift wrapping items. The side pockets holds up to 4 bukly beanies.
