Great Seat
I tried all the fancy seats...padded ones and pretty ones but nothing beats a plain regular seat and especially a Kohler...they last forever

Classy toilet seat
Made of wood, not synthetic materials or overprocessed petrochemicals! Stronger than plastic (the main reason that I bought a wooden toilet seat). No fumes. And the finish is beautiful.
One item on the down-side: heavier than the plastic toilet seats, the wooden lid/seat clangs against the toilet tank/bowl when opened/closed. Would the beautiful finish be marred? To prevent that from happening, I bought a cloth toilet seat cover... Problem solved! An added bonus: The toilet seat cover muffles the sound of the lid opening/closing, as well as the sound of the water evacuating the bowl.
