KitchenAid® 4-Slice Digital Toaster - Black
This 4-slice toaster features an LCD display that remembers the last shading and function set so everything toasts the same way every time, and the sleek, digital process bar shows when the toast will be ready. Its extra wide 1 1/2" slots will accept the thickest bagels, breads or pastries. The extra deep, steel toasting cavity ensures even browning, and the racks automatically adjust the slot width for thick or thin slices which keeps food upright while toasting. You can select the bagel function to reduce the power on one side of the heating elements by up to 50% so it will gently brown the bottom of the bagel while toasting the side that's sliced. There's even a defrost button so frozen pastries can be toasted to perfection in just minutes, and the reheat button quickly reheats toasted food in under a minute. Also includes manual high-lift lever and removable crumb tray. One-year warranty. UL listed. Model # KMT422.

Great toaster! This toaster is wonderful. It beeps a short warning a few seconds before it pops which allows you to grab that nice hot toasty item. It is a good looking and the two sides work independantly. I had no problems making this excellent toaster work. The previous rating sounds like a nightmare. This has not been my experience. I am very pleased. It does seem to take a tad longer to toast but it is worth it. July 25, 2012
Terrible Toaster! This is poorly made all around: It is very hard to get the levers to stay down when you start toasting (you have to jiggle them into just the right spot), it toasts very slowly AND it makes the most awful, incredibly loud buzzing sound when your toast is done, and there's no way to turn the "audible warning" off!! It can be heard all over our whole house. What, the "boing" of the toast popping up, the and the visual of the toast sticking up out of the toaster isn't enough to let us know our toast is done. We'll be replacing this as soon as we can afford to. November 16, 2011
