Best Pod Coffee Machine, Only Shortcoming...
It doesn't last. I'm on my third unit, each one has lasted about 8 to 11 months before it stopped heating the water, fortunately Bed Bath & Beyond will refund to a store credit in the warrantee period, I then order a new one. It's worth it and the only reason I didn't give it 5 stars.
It makes a strong, hot cup of coffee, with a nice head of foam. I've been hooked on pods for the last 10 years and after nursing a Mr Coffee pod unit for a few years, I found this TRU. It is the best if you want a strong cup of coffee, put it on the smallest setting and get a cup that's nearly espresso. I use Baronet Decaf French Roast Pods (18ct 10 gram) ...I love strong coffee hate caffeine.
One note, I make 5 to 10 pods a day, I work at home, the unit gets a lot of use, but even still it should last longer. I'm hoping this one will last.

Better Coffee
I have had a Kuerig coffee maker for almost two years now. It started bothering me that I was throwing all these litttle plastic cups in the trash so I looked for altenative. After spending some time looking at various coffee makers I went with the TRU Pod coffee maker. I have had it for two weeks now and I make atleast one cup daily. I have been alternating between the two coffee makers and the TRU coffee makers taste is noticeably better. It seems smoother with more flavor.In fact, I hate it that I have K cups left that I have to use.

Great Pod Brewer for the price!
Had a Krupps pod machine for a few years before it quit. Right away I was able to taste the difference in the coffee I was drinking; this TRU Pod machine brews a much more flavorful cup of coffee! There is virtually no clean-up between cups and the res will give you approximately 4-5 large cups. Only negative experienced with this machine so far (approximately 1 month of use) is that the clock is extremely fast; I tried re-setting it twice, but it keeps going off, but I don't use it with all of the other clocks in my kitchen.
