Good Product
I am a professional house cleaner, so I've used several vacuums, including Dyson, Hoover, Electrolux, Rainbow, Oreck, and more. I have to say, this is one of my favorites. Rainbow is my favorite, but Electrolux is a close second, and Oreck third (but just because it's light and easy to use.) I'm sorry, but Dyson isn't easy to use. It looks good, but isn't user friendly to me. This Electrolux has all the same features I've used with Dyson and it's so much easier to use. Of course, it's going to be more complicated than a vacuum that has bags, because of taking the canister out to empty it and clean it occasionally. But all upright canisters are going to be this way. This vacuum works great, though. I just got new carpet and I've been filling the canister every time I vacuum, in a 600 square feet apartment. And it's so nice to be able to empty it and not have a bag to worry about. I can reach the ceiling with the wand. I wish it had a floor tool it came with but you can buy one. It's not a big deal because the vacuum has three different options: You can use the beater bar on hi, or the beater bar on low with low suction, or no beater bar with hi suction. So, there's something for each floor type.
BOTTOM LINE:
This is a good value. It's a good vacuum, for a great price (considering most other vacuums are twice as much, unless you want a basic vacuum).

Awesome Vacuum!
My husband and I purchased this vacuum to use in our new home and i have to say this is THE best vacuum I have used to date hands down. I normally do not write reviews, especially of products I like but this one deserved to have more people know about it. This rivals even the best Dyson vacuum at half the price (500 vs this at 249). I have used a dyson that a family member had and I have to say I like this better. I know the attractiveness of a vacuum is seldom important but it has a great modern look, great LED headlight, some of the best suction found on a vacuum (even better than the ones advertised as "pet hair erasers") and super easy to operate. We have two rabbits that do shed from time to time and until using this vaccuum, the carpet looked clean using others. Now due to this vaccuum that picked up every last piece of fur, dust and dirt, the carpet looks even better! I love the ability it has to rotate from the base while holding the handle (like dyson ball) rather than just side to side , one hand emptying of the dust canister, washable hepa filter and ease of assembly and use. I would recommend this to anyone! Not enough people know that this company makes vacuums let alone ones that are this good in quality, looks and usability.

Love this vacuum!
My husband teases "Had I known how much more you would vacuum, I would have bought this sooner". The swivel really makes it so much easier to vacuum. I love that the dirt dispenser is EASY to clean without touching dirt. It is simple to remove and put back on, unlike my previous Eureka vacuum. The push handle for the vacuum detaches and becomes the attachment for corners, windowsills etc which means the attachments are actually attached instead of floating around in the closet. And the vacuum itself? It sucks up so much more than any Bissel or Eureka I've ever used. I've never paid the hefty price tag for a Dyson - but I don't think it could get much better. This is a great value for anyone who wants a high quality, well designed vacuum. I would recommend this to anyone.

Great vacuum, but!
To put it short, I do love this vacuum. It does a great job at vacuuming, however, I do not particularly like the attachment hose for my upholstered chaise lounge. With my previous vacuum, which was a Dyson DC33, I was able to effortlessly remove all pet hair, that's not the case with this one. The attachments are not great at all, which is a deal breaker. Lastly, I got rid of my Dyson because it could not completely pick up all of the dog hair from my Masland carpet, which I may add is one of the most expensive and hard to clean low pile rugs. If you have medium pile carpet, buy a Dyson, if you have low pile carpet, buy the Nimble.
