A cool retro vibe gives this arc pole lamp a hip style. The black metal pole supports a chrome arc that suspends a collapsible cream colored paper shade. A clear cord is attached along the arch with four clear bands. A sturdy round black base supports this chic floor lamp. Foot step switch. Requires one maximum 100 Watt bulb (not included) or one maximum 23 Watt CFL bulb. Measures 85" H x 55" D x 13" Diameter base. Shade: 14" H x 23.5" Diameter. Shade height is 59" from floor. Imported. packaging not quite there
The packaging of the oval paper shade wasn't done correctly, so that we couldn't "open" the shade up in order to insert the metal holder that keeps it "stretched open". On one side the metal hinges were interlocked, and we broke one of them while trying to separate them. The metal holder is keeping the shade stretched nicely on the shade's round opening at the bottom not using the little hooks, however. The design is beautiful, the quality of the base is great. It will not be difficult or expensive to get a new round or oval japanese paper shade in the future, if necessary.

Pretty lamp
I bought this online for my daughter's apartment. The clips for the wire were missing, but the rest of the lamp was fine. It looks nice in her apartment.
