Best Electric Kettle out there
I have this in kettle in Stainless Steel and have been using it for years. It does make a very small chime when it's though boiling, but you have to be right next to it to hear it. It does go on boiling for a while before it turns off, but it has to build up steam to signal the kettle to turn off. I've owned several different electric kettles and none have lasted as long as this one has. When it finally quits working, I'll buy this same kettle again in the Stainless Steel finish.

no chime on first use!
Used this for the first time today. It continues to boil for quite awhile before shutting off and mine has no chime! Also, the "seal" around the top doesn't seal and water poured out from the spout and the top. After reading the reviews it sounds like it can only get worse...taking it back!

Great product
Great product for boiling water quickly. Love the automatic shut-off feature once water has boiled. The cord wraps easily under the base for storage.
