Messy
I returned the calphalon grill because it was messy and tried this one. Same problem. When the lid is opened the grease runs right down the back of the grill and onto the counter. I was replacing an old GF grill and I hadn't noticed until buying two bad replacements that the lip on the top plate of the older unit was wide enough to direct the grease onto the bottom plate when open. These new models have almost no lip whatsoever so grease has no option but to run down the back. Back to BB&B I go....

Not this grill
My husband bought me this grill because I asked for a George Foremen grill with removable plates. When we got it out of the box, I noticed the knob for selecting the temperature was loose as if it was going to fall off. I took it back thinking it should be in working order when I take it out of the box. (wierd, huh??) I did an even exchange for the same model. I was excited to make dinner with it! However, when I got it all set up, and plugged it in, it didn't work at all-no light, no heat---nothing.
I will be taking this one back too for a different brand.

worst grill ever
i never got to use it. It was a gift from my wedding last month and the plastic clip that removes the cooking surface broke off before the first use. When I went to the store, the floor model had the same issue. some one else posted this very same thing. It is very cheaply made. i recommend the cephalon version. its $50 more but much better construction.

Awesome!!
I purchased this grill about two weeks ago. Thus far I have been very satisfied with it, the non stick surface works very well, and the cooking temperature is even and consistent. Two pieces of chicken breast is the most I have cooked at one time, but the grill performed very exceptional. I have only hand washed the grill plates, I have not put them in the dishwasher even though it says dishwasher safe. The only thing that I can really find wrong with grill is the timer is kind of loud, but this is a very minor thing and not worth taking any credit away from the product. Over all this is a very well made and quality product and I would recommend it to anyone looking for a foreman grill.
