Works Good with some practice.
Saw this for a long time at Sur La Table and decided to use the 20% BBB discount. Ordered it in the store and they took care of shipping. Great to do business with BBB.
Received the machine and spent almost 2 "hours" priming it to work. The machine is tested and drained then shipped. So when you get it it takes a while to get the pump to starting sucking up water. I thought the machine was broke. It go so warm from trying over and over again. Then I called Nespresso. I worked with a guy for over an hour with no success. He then said a tech specialist would call. The next day I went thru the same process. She was excellent and patience. She said it happens and don't fret, it will work. That's why it got 4 stars not 5.
Finally it started sucking water and began to work normally. What a process but I'm glad I hung in there and got it to work.
The machine. EXCELLENT.. once you figure it out. Like the many other reviews, it foams lots.. lots.. I talked to Nespresso and they showed me how to set the desired amount of milk and foam. Once I did that, it made excellent Cappucino and Macchiato. The Expresso is perfect just out of the box.
One more thing. I use Bodum Pavina double walled cups. It's a good idea to fill the cup with hot water first. Then make your desired beverage. It stays much hotter much longer.

The Keurig of the Espresso Machines
The Lattissima Plus is a very easy to use espresso machine. Make no mistake about it, this machine is fully automatic. You put your water in, your espresso pod, milk if you desire, press a button an in under a minute you get a nice cup of espresso or cappuccino. Why the 3 stars than? Well it says you can do espressos, cappuccinos, and lattes. While the first two are truth, the machine really doesn’t produce lattes very well. For a true latte you need to steam the milk and produce little to no foam. The milk attachment on this machine is NOT a steamer, but a milk aerator. And boy does it create foam. The dial setting allows you to adjust the amount of foam but for me it didn’t do anything but make more foam. Even at the lowest setting it created too much. Another bad side of this machine is that it doesn’t get the espresso and the milk hot enough, I found myself "nuking" the drink for 20 seconds to bring it up to temp. Finally you are required to use the custom Nespresso Pods and can’t use any other brand of espresso. Aside that if you want a good quality, nice looking machine, with lots of foam, and that is easy to use as a Keurig than this unit is for you.

Tastes great, less (counter) filling
This is a great little expresso maker. The variety of capsules is excellent, and the espresso really does taste good. Great crema. And, the footprint on our counter is minimal - this thing is tiny, compared to our old espresso maker.
