Grinding mechanism works very smoothly - very easy to turn. Fills very simply and easily also.

Love this pepper mill!
Has a nice weight; feels like quality construction. Easy to change from fine to coarse grind, and easy to refill. Love it!

Cole & Mason Derwent Gourmet Precision Pepper Mill
I bought this mill because I saw a review on Cooks that said of all the mills tested, it performed the best and that you could dial a grind and it would deliver. They were right. It seems to be a very well made grinder and with each adjustment you get the promised (accurate) incremental increase (or decrease) in the size of the grind. Very useful for cooking as well as applying condiments. Highly recommended
