EVAP2 Whole Room Humidifier
This model is NOT ultrasonic and it IS loud on the HI speed, otherwise it is a fine unit. I only use mine on LO speed with the humidity level on 60%. I do NOT use the AUTO setting because it engages the fan at HI speed and is too loud for my needs.

Nice humidifier
We listened carefully for the loud noises other reviewer posted and heard none. We've had several humidifiers over the years including ultrasonic and this is as quiet as any. And when running in auto mode it's certainly the quietest. It makes a consistent low hum in auto - no cycling on and off. It seems to work very well. The first night it was obvious it was working because our normal wintertime coughs went away and the humidity seemed constant.

Sounds like a loud fountain
Works well but is SO NOISY. Like a very loud waterfall or fountain. Manual says bubbling noise is normal, but you can't watch TV or talk over the loud babbling noise of the water. Ultrasonic implies that it's quiet. It is not.
