Great for Price My last hot choclate maker, same price, was recalled due to possible lead leaching. I bought this one last week and like it very much. Although it does not turn off automatically when it reaches a certain temperature, I just use my oven or microwave timer, as I have figured out how long to heat for 1 cup, 2 cups, etc. Heats well and makes nice froth. I looked at others and would have had to pay twice the price or more for a different brand with automatic shut-off feature. I am happy with it and use it every day. February 14, 2013
Great little machine A+ I bought one of these for myself and really like it. When it is heating, I just turn the lid a little and place a small heat gage thermometer into the liquid. That way I can heat it up to the temperature I like (145). Froths really well. It is even good for chai tea lattes. Washes up easy, too. I am having way too much fun with this! December 30, 2012
No auto turn off We had an older version that I loved! It was recalled by the manufacturer so we turned it in to Bed, Bath, & Beyond and they gave us this one. Works how it is suppose to except that there is no auto shut off when it reaches a certain temp! I loved the old one because it would shut off when it was hot and then come back on to mix and heat up when the coco cooled off. December 11, 2012
