Great for Price
My last hot choclate maker, same price, was recalled due to possible lead leaching. I bought this one last week and like it very much. Although it does not turn off automatically when it reaches a certain temperature, I just use my oven or microwave timer, as I have figured out how long to heat for 1 cup, 2 cups, etc. Heats well and makes nice froth. I looked at others and would have had to pay twice the price or more for a different brand with automatic shut-off feature. I am happy with it and use it every day.

Great little machine A+
I bought one of these for myself and really like it. When it is heating, I just turn the lid a little and place a small heat gage thermometer into the liquid. That way I can heat it up to the temperature I like (145). Froths really well. It is even good for chai tea lattes. Washes up easy, too. I am having way too much fun with this!

No auto turn off
We had an older version that I loved! It was recalled by the manufacturer so we turned it in to Bed, Bath, & Beyond and they gave us this one. Works how it is suppose to except that there is no auto shut off when it reaches a certain temp! I loved the old one because it would shut off when it was hot and then come back on to mix and heat up when the coco cooled off.
