the woman with the spots that she could not remove
I hope you see this. I bought the same cookware and the first time that I boiled water to make some pasta my pot did the same thing that you are talking about happening to yours. I took a little cider vinegar and it took those spots right out. I hope this is helpful to you and good luck.

Disappointing
Got this set to go on my new induction cooktop. First run through the dishwasher and the pots looked great only there was a little rust on one lid. First pot I used to boil water, just to test the boiling point and there were white spots on the bottom, inside of the pot. Finishing off a batch of maple syrup in the big pot looked great but it came out of the dishwasher with worse white spots that won't come off. It also has a tiny rust spot on the bottom inside of the pot. Used the fry pan to make pancakes. They didn't stick but I can't get all the residue off despite soaking for 24 hours and scrubbing with baking soda.

great affordable cookware!!
I had several Emeril saucier pans that heat evenly, are super easy to clean, look good hanging in the kitchen and are useful sizes. I decided to get rid of some very expensive ($100-200 each) commercial pots and pans because they were very heavy, hard to clean and too big for our needs. I love this Emeril set!!!!!! I will be giving my children each a set as they buy homes.
