Great Product
I use this peeler almost everyday. Works great on cucumbers, potatoes, carrots, beets, turnips and radishes. The top of it can be used to scoop out potato spuds too.
I have put it in the dishwasher many times, on NO HEAT Dry Setting, and it seems fine, no signs of rust
Basically I use this peeler to peel everything ececpt for tomatoes; I use Rösle's Tomato/Kiwi Serrated Peeler for those.

Works great!
I purchased this after I cut myself with an awful peeler. The blade is sharp and feels very safe especially with carrots that are hard to peel. Very easy now with my new peeler

Great for Lefties, too!
As a lefty I always have difficulty finding tools that work for me. This tool not only peels easily, but it also cuts just below the skin leaving more potato. I've tried lots of different peelers, even Pampered Chef, but nothing works like this one. Don't need to try anything else...definitely worth the money.

Wonderful utensil
This peeler is terrific. After using some other OXO items, I decided to treat myself to this - and it is a treat! The blade is sharp and quick. The handle is comfortable. I will continue to go to OXO Good Grips for other kitchen equipment.
