My marble board was also shipped, but it arrived in excellent shape. This is a beautiful kitchen element, and I look forward to using it to bake.

marble pastry board
The marble pastry board probably would have been fine but was shipped in a large cardboard box with nothing for packing except some crumpled brown paper. Marble is extremely breakable and it arrived broken, of course, because of the careless way it was packed. It would have probably arrived intact had someone put some packing peanuts under, ov er and around it. I was extremely disappointed in the shipping. Everything else was handled very promptly and efficiently. The product itself was probably fine had it arrived intact and not broken.
