Awesome
I registered for this vacuum for my wedding. It works great! I was really worried about it not working well because I have 2 dogs and a cat. It works great. It has wonderful suction and awesome attachments. You just need to keep the filters clean.

Product Doesn't Last
I purchased this vacuum approximately 2 1/2 years ago. Although the vacuum is heavy and hard to maneuver, it cleaned great for the first six months or so. After that it seemed to not be cleaning as well. Now, the beater-bar won't rotate if the vacuum is on carpet. The belt is fine and no apparent reason the beater-bar won't rotate on carpet. I am planning to replace this vacuum rather than try and mess with fixing it at this point. Don't waste you money on this vacuum.

Wasted potential
Pros: Vacuum has very good suction and comes with a couple of good attachments for cat hair--I also liked the fact that the pegs to wrap the cord around were relatively close together and somewhat high up on the back of the vacuum so that I didn't need to bend when wrapping it--
Cons: Where to start?--1) The vacuum is heavy and doesn't handle particularly well, causing back strain-- 2) While the suction was good, at least initially, the dust cup was too small and, thus, had to be emptied way too often-- 3) Which brings us to the fact that removing the dust cup for emptying was always a messy process--I always had to re-vacuum the area where the machine had been when I removed the cup-- 4) From the very beginning it was louder than any other vacuum I'd had and after about 2 years it suddenly got louder yet and no one could find what was causing it--Fact was, at that point it was just too loud to use anymore--
I wised up, donated this machine (keeping the two pet hair attachments) and got a Dyson--Much better choice--Much

I have 3 LARGE dogs...
I love this vacuum. I've had it for about 2 years now and it works great. The only draw back is that emptying the canister is a little messy that's why I didn't give it a 5. Seeing all the hair in the canister and how much gets gathered in such a small area makes me realize how good it is.
I not only would recommend it, I did. My daughter is buying this for her house. She has 2 dogs.
