Right concept, poor design
I bought a box of these hangers in an attempt to organize my 12 foot closet. I figured their slim, uniform design would take up less space and allow me to fit more clothing in the closet, because it's simpler to hang a shirt up than to fold it and put away in a draw never to be seen. When I opened the box, I was disappointed that about 5 of them were broken; either in half or at the hook part of the hanger itself. I attempted to organize my closet by pairing work pants with a dress shirt. I work in an office; my pants aren't heavy at all. The hangers cracked under the weight so I attempted to put just my shirts on the hangers; no sweaters, just shirts. These would probably be better for children's or infant closets. I think out of the box of 50, I have 30 left and I'm considering getting the traditional wooden hangers for my closet - even if they're more than three times the cost of these P.O.S. hangers. My Favorite Hanger For Life
Having a HUGE wardrobe, these hangers are a life saver. The hooks allow me to store 5-6 times as many clothing items. The felted surface allows me to hang delicate knits without misshaping and straps or wide neck lines without slippage. I have purchased over 300 of these hangers and am using them all except for the one single hanger that has broken. Most of mine have the weight of 5-6 garments on the top most hanger and they have NOT broken. I've been using them for 4-5 years. If I could give this product 10 stars out of 5, I would.

Great hangers (none have broken)
None of the 50 hangers were broken in the box, and none of the 30 or so have broken in the two months they've been in use in my closet. I haven't used all yet, but I expect them to be the same and not as flimsy/prone to breakage as others have reported. Maybe I just got lucky..?

Total Junk - Save your money
Since I can't get my money back on this purchase I want to make sure that no one else wastes their money on this lousy, flimsy product. Out of a box of 50 we probably have 10 left. You would expect to be able to turn the metal hook part of the hanger, but no, it actually breaks the hanger rendering it useless. Also they are so flimsy and weak, they bow when you hang even the lightest pair of men's pants. How do I know that these are junk? Because I bought a box of 50 velvet hangers from CostCo for less money and I don't experience any of the same issues. Save your money!
