Exactly what was expected.
Beautiful set of dishes. Very sleek and modern looking, while practical and easy to use. Love the look. Only used once so can't comment on the durability yet, but I don't anticipate any issues. They arrived in great condition.

Very Contemporary
This set is very contemporary. The sleekness of this set may intimidate or make a more "traditional" consumer wary. However, this set is also very versatile. The bowls, although they have the same sort of silhouette as the plates, are still very functional. I love that this set is not only dishwasher safe but also microwave safe.

Elegant and Refined
These pieces are white and square. Here ends the commonality with the trendy white restaurant ware that has cropped up everywhere. The pieces are delicate and fine. I love the shallow depth of the plates, a spacious palette upon which to plate good food. The design is very simple but wonderfully artistic. You may not want to lift the plates by the thinner corners, but these pieces will be the highlight of your entertaining table. A worthy conversation piece!

Terrible Quality
I registered for this pattern and was terribly shocked when they arrived. They are really thin and super fragile. Not suitable for daily use or use at all. The plates were uneven and wobbled on the table. At first I thought perhaps it was the table so I tried different table tops in different locations. No, all of the plates are unevenly made. They are not the quality that I had come to expect from Mikasa. Terrible Quality
