Philips Sonicare® DiamondClean Rechargeable Toothbrush
So far so good, I love it! I used to have an entry level Sonicare toothbrush (Essence) and I liked it, however, my main compliant was the goo and buildup from day to day brushing (after thorough rinsing of the unit). Despite the fact that I had sworn off all Sonicare toothbrushes, I am proud to say that I'm back. I was using an Oral B Professional Care toothbrush for about a year, but it stopped effectively brushing my teeth. I began to notice that the Oral B was leaving behind a lot of plaque, which I could feel when I ran my tongue across the back of my teeth. After using the Diamond Clean just twice, I noticed that the plaque is no longer there. Since I wear a retainer at night (post braces), I need the best toothbrush on the market. Hands down, this is the best toothbrush in my opinion, well worth it. Oh, and the $30 gift card mail in rebate made the offer that much more enticing, thanks again Sonicare!

My teeth feel so much cleaner using this toothbrush. It took a little while to get used to the tickling feeling, but the toothbrush is set to ramp up the vibration over time and it has a sensitive setting. I like the low noise and the audible cue to move to the next quadrant.

Best battery operated toothbrush
I have used a battery operated toothbrush for years. My other is a different brand than Phillips. WOW... I have only owned for a week and where my coffee/tea stains were they are gone already. The user guide says in two weeks you will notice an improvement well I noticed in one week. Compared to my other brand this Philips is quiter and you can tell it has more power. Excellent purchase I bought one for myself and my wife. My poor son got the " old replacement...with a new brush of course". If you want better/whiter/cleaner teeth don't hesitate purchase this Philips.

Best of the breed
After using the flexcare for years and being extremely satisfied, when the toothbrush broke I needed no convincing on buying another. I was excited to see that when going to buy a new one, another improved model had come out (sonicare diamondclean). For those that are familiar with this caliber of toothbrush (that simply cannot be compared to 50-100$ models), you will be happy to see many noticable improvements.
First off, the noise output of the diamondclean toothbrush is significantly less than that of all of their previos models. So significant in fact that what used to be a very annoying (but dealt with) noise is now almost non existant in comparison. The new diamondclean brush heads also, for reasons outside of my own professional knowledge, do a MUCH better job with much less applied pressure than the previos models heads.
The toothbrush itself seems extremely well made, and has been redesigned in a way that eliminates any surface buttons minus the power button. When you press the power button, soft white illuminated words (clean/white/etc.) appear that allow you to select which program you would like to use. Last on the list of important details is the charging, which has kept the same "wireless charging" and just presented it in a different way. The holder for the charging station on this model seemd a bit "wobbly", but is a minor oversight in comparison to the feeling you get after brushing with this toothbrush.
As a side note, the travel case you get with this device is made of carbon fiber and is EXTREMELY sturdy. Fits 2 brush heads, the unit itself, and then has a USB power adapter built into the exterior of the case so that it can remain closed while charging the brush. Perfect for travel. Only gripe is that the brush head covers wont fit in the case (and must be taken off if you want to put the brushes in the case).
The noise reduction alone is the best part of this brush, and with a 30$ mail in rebate and a 20% off coupon for bed bath and beyond, this model becomes cheaper than the next step down. AMAZING
