Metallic KitchenAid® Nickel 5-Speed Blender with 56-Ounce Polycarbonate Pitcher
A unique pitcher shape, patented blade and powerful 0.9 horsepower motor make this blender a must-have for any kitchen. The patented stainless steel blade tines are positioned on four different planes for fast, thorough and consistent blending, and the blade assembly is built into the pitcher for easy handling and cleanup. The heavy, die-cast metal base ensures stable, quiet operation when blending, plus four rubber feet on a wide base provide a nonslip, non-marring grip. The 56-ounce one-piece, commercial grade polycarbonate pitcher is scratch, stain and shatter resistant. The handle features a soft inner grip for comfortable, nonslip control. Also features Intelli-Speed which controls and adjusts power, plus an automatic "crush ice" button. UL listed. One-year warranty.

Best Blender ever
It is nice that the blender is all one piece when washing/dishwasher. Base is heavy so won't tip and blender is not made of glass - unbreakable. Blends fast and very well. This is the best one of all the blenders I have had. Would definitely recommend!

Excellent quality
There are many reasons I like this blender:
- The motor is strong.
- The base unit is substantial, with rubber feet to keep it from moving across the counter.
- The pitcher is made of heavy plastic.
- The top fits securely.
- It fits under the upper counter.
- It is relatively quiet, even when blending ice.
- Blenders with blades that screw into the pitcher have a gasket that eventually will fail, but this blender has blades that are built into the pitcher.
- It has performed very well for different types of things: smoothies, crêpe and popover batter, and frozen drinks, etc.
The nickel finish is very attractive.
I recommend this KitchenAid highly.
