Better than any electric can opener I've had. It's easy and smooth to operate and it's durable. I've had this product for well over 2 years now and it still works as great as the day I got it.

Disappointing
I loved this can opener at first but it fell apart after only 6 months.

Not that great
Brand new the product worked great and was very easy to use. Excellent grip handles and ergonomic feel. But the sprocket that grips the can is the weak link. Over a period of approx. 6 months the sprocket stripped while opening cans and now is inoperable. When I turn the handle, the sprocket no longer grips the can and therefor will not move the opener around the can in order to cut can lid. Kind of like a car wheels spinning on ice. I plan to return to Calphalon to see if they'll replace the can opener due to manuf. defect. I'm hoping this was a fluke and the 2nd one will meet the typical 5 star rating most Calphalon products deserve.
