Love Calphalon!
In regards to the 2 star ratings of wear and tear, the first reviewer openly admits to using a dishwasher to clean it. This product very clearly states that it is hand wash only. My calphalon holds up great. It is SO easy to clean by hand that it is really no hassle, and I am happy to do it in order to properly care for my babies! (It seriously takes a minute only, and saves room in my dishwasher for other things that really need the dishwasher. This pot is big, and would take a huge amount of space on the rack!). Take care of this product and it will last and last.

Non Stick...non lasting
6 Months after using this pot for several different soups, stews, & just about everything you can imagine, my wife pointed out the fact that the inside was looking scratched.
We ONLY use OXO rubber heat resistant utensils with our cookware and only have washed this pot in our Kenmore Elite dishwasher. We are very disappointed with the low quality of the non stick surface. It must be extremely thin and does not hold up. We can't locate the receipt, but will be bringing this item in for a store credit. We will review the customer service and let you know how this turns out.

Disappointed over time
Initially I liked the pot. However, the coating at the bottom has started to bubble up and scratch off even though I have followed all the directions for use. Also, the metal parts of the handles get VERY HOT. You have to be careful to only access the pot by the black coated section of the handles and this section is not big enough.

I love this pot
I received this pot from my daughter for Christmas. And I LOVE it. I think I've used it every other day since then. My daughter knew I'd love it because she too loves the set she received for her wedding last year. I'm looking forward to adding new pieces of Calphalon cookware to my Chili pot soon.
