plastic doesn't hold up to heavy use
I used this frequently for injecting flavor into baked goods. The threads around the neck of the injector cracked after a few uses and soon after broke off all the way. Into the trash it went. I will be replacing with a fully metal one. Would only recommend for occasional users.

I don't know if I just got a bad one of these, but mine was definitely not a five star product. The build quality seems good, it's pretty sturdy, and the window is nice. I also like that it comes with 2 needle sizes. Everything is great until I try to actually use it...
The thing sucks up your solution until about half way, and then the plunger is not air tight anymore and you end up sucking nothing but air. Also if the plunger is past that point where there's no more seal, the solution can just spill right out of the needle. I have to either only use it at half capacity, or move the needle quickly (or hold upside down until I inject it) to keep the solution in. It's a pretty big disappointment for something that seems like such good build quality.
Half capacity is pretty much how I've had to use it now, but I feel kind of cheated because of that. I'll probably see if I still have the receipt and try to exchange it for another one, and if that doesn't work just get a better quality one. If the next one is any better I'll update the review...

Nice product
I bought this to use to inject apple juice & other flavors into my BBQ. I've only used it a handful of times but it seems durable & I like that it breaks down for cleaning - it is, however, a little difficult to take apart. When I first cleaned it I thought I was going to break it while disassembling. Good product at a fair price & two needles depending on what you're injecting - the case is just the clincher as it keeps everything together so it's always ready when needed.
