thinking of returning this one
Although it is made sturdy, once I use this can opener, I can't get the lid off. Even after running it through a few times, I have to resort to using my old fashion one.

NOT made in America
I was looking for can openers that were made in America and a few showed up. I purchased two and when I recieved them - they were made in CHINA - why does everything have to be made in China?
This can opener was designed by the Culinary Institute of America but they had it manufactured in China. Very disappointed. It is hard to get use to. Different way of attaching to the can to open it.

Good can opener
Good can opener but best thing is that it has a lifetime guarantee. Defective, or becomes defective get a replacement from Bed, Bath & Beyond or refund or get a lifetime from CIA. It worked and is working for us. We will purchase another one and will review it as well but to this point a good addition to a high line kitchen.

Worthless
Got this in and it worked great on the first can i tried it on. Later that week i went to use it on a tuna can and it only cut half way around the top.
Tried it again and it won't cut into the can at all.
Get something else, this opener is worthless.
