Not great
This was a shower gift that my mother-in-law insisted we needed because it would replace our conventional toaster and our full size oven. Well, this definitely was not the toaster oven to start with. First, it takes forever to toast your bread/bagel/muffin. With only a timer dial, that goes from light, medium, dark, it doesn't toast well the first time around, and if u set it again, it ends up burning ur bread. 2nd, I don't know why they call it a convection oven, b/c it doesn't cook more than one item at a time evenly or quickly. Lastly, the metal around the window on the outside of the door gets very hot! When you grab the handle to open the door, you burn your hand unless you are very very careful (like your playing the game operation and your trying not to touch the metal when your pulling out the little pieces). My husband and I have burned our hands numerous times when opening the oven! For this reason alone, KichenAid should pull this appliance from the shelves and re-model it for safer use. Luckily, bed bath has an excellent return policy, and this toaster oven is going back today. I do not recommend purchasing this product.

Disappointed
I was expecting an awesome product from Kitchen Aid.
I couldn't read any of the settings on the dials unless I had a flashlight and that was not even helping.

Great Easy to Use Oven!
My husband bought this for me for Christmas and I just love it! I didn't want anything too complicated with digital info - just the classic simple basic old-fashioned dials and this is it! Heats up quickly, saves me from turning on the big oven for 8 pizza rolls! LOL - love the silver and black! We've used it for toasting turkey and cheese sandwiches, pizza rolls, homemade bread, etc and everything came out great! I especially love the toasting option of light, medium and dark - love the timer in case I forget. Great Purchase!

JUNK!
After spending $130 on this so-called high end counter top oven, it has stopped working completely for the second time in two years. The first time, I called customer service and it was replaced, free of charge. Now, a year later the replacement has also stopped working. Customer service said that the original warranty has expired and I was out of luck. After speaking with a manager, they agreed to replace the replacement with a refurbished unit.
Bottom line- this product is a piece of junk. It is the slowest toaster I've ever had and the oven function does not work well either.
Save your money and buy a Black and Decker, the one I had before this piece of junk lasted almost 10 years and worked much better.
