Different from standard carbon filters
I have a standard carbon filter that I have been using for years. Just recently I decided that carbon may not be enough to clean our water and decided to check out Reverse Osmosis filters. These filters are costly and wasteful, so I was left with few options.
I had the opportunity to review the ZeroWater system, courtesy of ZeroWater, and I was satisfied with the results. The water tastes only slightly different than it does with the regular carbon filter, but when using the included TDS meter, I can see that there is a difference in the amount of dissolved solids in my water. If you are looking for a good pitcher style filter, ZeroWater is a great choice. I love that you can monitor your water contaminant levels. The filters may seem costly as compared to other filters, but ZeroWater does a lot more and in the long run it will pay for itself if you are buying bottled water.
I recommend trying it out!

won't last long.
I got this product couple weeks ago. The first week is fine. But after a week or so, water started to taste funny, like lemon taste. I tested with the indicator, and it showed around 200. Anyway, to me, definitely not live up to the expectation.

Finally Clean Water
Our house water comes from a well. The water was drinkable but had a yucky taste. Tested the well water with the included meter. It read 176. I then tested the water that came from the "filtered" refrigerator with a brand new filter element. It read 174. I was wondering why the water tasted like crud all the time. Ran water through the ZeroWater filter and it read "0".
More importantly it tasted like a zero. Very satisfied. If there was a 6th star I would give it 6.

Best we've used
My wife & I have owned multiple countertop water filtration systems and have found the ZeroWater Pitcher to be the best yet and most practical for us. The filters are pricey, but well worth the premium to us because our public water supply is naturally laden with calcium & lime sediment and we love the taste of ZeroWater in our coffee, tea and "water on the rocks".
