Tried twice before giving up
While this scale looks nice it is badly designed. I have been thru two of them trying to find one which would work consistantly. I am now giving up in favor of an ugly scale which works consistantly. I am 6'4" and have 13.5 inch feet, but a scale should be able to consistantly measure my ~190 lb. weight. (I need to weigh myself every day for health reasons.) Every time I get on this scale I get a different weight; I move my feet and I get a different weight. This morning it showed that I had lost 15 lbs since yesterday. Not going to happen... Most days I stand there and get on and off the scale and get a significantly different weight. Often this variation is as much as 3 lbs. At first I thot I had a bad scale, a lemon, but after trading it in for a second one and having the same problem, I give up!

worked great, but not for long
This scale worked fantastic, for eight days. Then it stopped, no display. Changed batteries, still no display. Very annoying, especially considering the price.

Met My Needs
I bought this scale for my 92 year old mother. I does not require tapping to active, simply step on. Display is very large and very bright. Scale is broad, stable and very low to the floor and it is slightly larger than most $20-$25 scales that I looked at. It has a premium price but also premium features that are beneficial to a very elderly person. I would recommend this scale to anyone but especially to anyone with special needs.
