Tassimo
Just want to add my experience. I have owned every Kuerig except the smallest on, and they have all stopped working. I also got the Cuisinart for K-Cups and the pump and mechanical parts sounded the EXACT same as the Kuerig, so I knew it was going to go down. And it did. It seems to me the pumps in those other units are cheap.
So, on to my Tassimo. What I will say is the Tassimo is louder than my other coffee makers. And there is no auto start. However, the loud pump is kind of reassuring as it doesn't sound like the hamster parts in the other coffee makers. I loved the Cuisinart coffee. That brewer goes slow so the coffee came out very rich. The Tassimo does just as well, if not better. There are alot of variables to good coffe. I think the brew speed is one of the biggest things for these type of machines. Kuerigs come out fast and brews weak. Tassimo has a perfect brew speed and it comes out HOT!
The coffee is selection is not as extensive as K-Cups, but I am a pretty snobby coffe drinker, and it seems most dedicated coffee drinkers are not into the flavored coffee too much. The King Joe (I think it's called) coffee for this Tassimo is AWESOME. The other great thing about this machine is it is much smaller than the Kuerig and Cuisinart. All in all, I would recommend this over any other single serve I have used.

Tassimo T55 is far better than any Keurig
I have worked as a barista for over 5 years, and can say without hesitation, the Tassimo T55 is a superior machine. I have owned the Keurig Elite and the Keurig Vue, and consider the Tassimo 55 extraordinarily preferrable. I have tried the Verissimo, and still preferred the Tassimo 55. Tassimo 55 has all the abilities of the Keurig Vue that include stronger or weaker, larger or smaller cups of coffee, espresso, cappuccino and latte options. As an experienced barista, the water quality, heat, and shot timing are as critical as the beans and their grind setting. The heat setting of Tassimo is optimal, making the heat settings of the Vue a useless option that is one more problem to go wrong. The Tassimo 55 is quieter than any Keurig. The Tassimo is a much smaller machine which is functionally and decoratively superior to the Keurig. The Tassimo does have a smaller water tank, which was a concern at first, BUT I soon realized that my sink was 4 steps away and I actually preferred refilling, as I no longer have stale water sitting for days in tank. The water filter is a great option for the connoisseur. The cappuccinos and lattes out of the Tassimo 55 are quite good, and truly pathetic from the Vue. The Tassimo foam lasts and does not have that sweetner added by Keurig. I have tried all coffees, and Tassimo discs provide GREAT tasting coffees for every palate. From the acidic to smokey, from the rich to mild, from the flavored to the skinny cappuccinos, the Tdiscs offer a full variety. I won't discuss the Keurig Elite as it was a horrible choice for flavor, options and noise.

Awesome Coffee Maker
We've been using Cuisinart Grind N Brew coffee makers for years, but my husband started complaining about the coffee just not tasting as good as it used to. Then our daughter & son-in-law bought a Tassimo single serve coffee maker to replace their Keurig. When we tasted the coffee from the Tassimo, it was delicious. So we went home and bought one of our own. Great coffee and so much more convenient that the grind n brew coffee makers.
