Disappointed
Much like a few of the other reviewers, after just a few uses on several of the pans, there was extreme discoloration. We went to the website and followed cleaning directions there as well as following the included directions in the box, but neither worked at all. This is very disappointing as these were gifts for our wedding and we spent months researching different kinds that would suit our kitchen. We are returning them and will have to do more quick research to find a better brand.

Terribly Disappointing!
I bought this set a couple of weeks ago in an attempt to replace my 10 year old Emerilware set. I LOVED my first set of Emerilware and thought these would be a great replacement. WOW! I was beyond wrong! I used the 8' and 10' fry pans on medium heat and had to clean the stuck on oil and butter with steel wool for an hour. That was after several other cleaning attempts with various cleansers. My husband had to scrub one of the pans for a solid 30 mins because I thought my arm was going to fall off. The result-they STILL looked like they were years old and I had only used them one time! Granted, stainless steel takes a bit more elbow grease to clean compared to the non-stick pots but this was ridiculous! Also of note, as the pan heated up, I noticed a ring forming around the bottom inside of each pan that looked like the copper was almost bleeding into the pan. It never came out either and was permanently discolored. Not to mention the copper band on the outside looked eroded and faded. I have a beautiful copper double boiler that I have used multiple times and it still looks excellent!
Unfortunately, it appears they have decreased the quality of these products without decreasing the price. Although $299 is a good price for a set of this size, it is not worth the poor quality of these pots. Luckily, I was able to return the set to BBB. I love them for that!
I am an experienced cook and baker and would recommend that you stay away from these pots and pans. My favorite pick is Le Creuset. They make awesome cookware that is so useful and durable. They also cook like a dream! Calphalon also makes great pots and pans if you are looking for strictly stainless steel.

Edmerilware Stainless steel 14 piece
I purchase this set after doing research on this item I have been using it for about 4 months and everything about is perfect no problems so far only complaint is the lids have metal handles on top of the pan cover gets very hot while cooking that you burn your hands on ghe cover when removing it other then that the pots clean really well for the sale person gave me a cleaner that helps them to be seasoned

Cookware falling apart
I purchased this cookware in December 2009 and am now experiencing the cookware coming apart, literally, at the seams. The layers of the pots are separating and falling apart after 13 months of use. I am kind to my cookware and really expected this set to be a long time purchase but will now have to be replaced by me and will NOT be replaced with another set made by All-Clad. Their website is a joke and they expect me to pay for postage to return this sub-par cookware - more money out of my pocket. I registered my cookware at the time of my purchase and should not have to pay to return it in order to get the junk replaced. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PRODUCT!!!
